3/21/26 Fenton Lions Club Spring into Meadows Fundraiser

Keys, Claws, and Crowds: Inside the Fenton Lions Club Dueling Pianos Showdown

The Fenton Lions Club raised the roof at the Spring Meadows Country Club on March 21, 2026, hosting a wild, request-driven musical face-off courtesy of Dueling Pianos International. The fourth annual “Spring into the Meadows” fundraiser proved that when you mix charitable local Lions and two baby grand pianos- formal decorum goes completely out the window. By 8:00 PM, the country club was packed with local business leaders, real estate rivals calling temporary truces, and residents ready to belt out classic rock anthems. The goal of the night was to raise crucial funds for the community’s visually and hearing-impaired residents. The method? Pure, unadulterated musical chaos.

The Anatomy of a Piano Duel

For the uninitiated, a Dueling Pianos International performance isn’t a polite recital; it is a high-octane comedy show disguised as a concert. Two master musicians sit across from each other and pit opposite sides of the room against one another in a battle of volume and wit.

Big Energy for a Great Cause

While the banter stayed fast and sharp, the real victory was the generosity of the Fenton and Linden communities. Between the corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, and the mountain of cash thrown onto the pianos, the Fenton Lions Club secured massive support for local accessibility initiatives. It turns out that getting people slightly loud and incredibly competitive is the most effective fundraising strategy in Genesee County. By the time the final encore wrapped up, vocal cords were sore, hands were red from clapping, and the Lions proved once again why this event is a staple of the local spring social calendar.

3/13/26 Southgate, MI  Huron Music Boosters

On March 13, 2026, music took center stage in Southgate as keys clashed for an unforgettable cause. The Huron Music Boosters officially raised the roof at The Grecian Center, hosting a high-energy fundraising gala featuring the globally acclaimed entertainers from Dueling Pianos International. The night combined incredible food, community spirit, and rapid-fire musical comedy to support local student music programs. Here is a recap of how the community packed the house and kept the pianos rocking all night.

A Beautiful Venue for a Great Cause.

The evening kicked off inside the elegant ballroom of The Grecian Center. Known as one of Downriver’s premier event destinations, the staff served up a fantastic dinner that fueled the crowd for the interactive spectacle ahead. As the dessert plates were cleared, the lights dimmed, and the focus shifted to two baby grand pianos facing each other on the main stage.

Unstoppable Energy from Dueling Pianos International

From the very first chord, the musicians from Dueling Pianos International commanded the room. Rather than a passive concert, the performers turned the entire crowd into the stars of the show. Guests filled out request slips, placing them on the pianos to contribute to the evening’s playlist. The musical range was staggering: Classic Rock Anthems that got the entire room shouting the chorus. Motown Favorites that paid perfect homage to our nearby Detroit roots. Modern Pop & Country Hits that kept the energy vibrant and unpredictable. The signature element of the night was the friendly, “dueling” crowd participation. The performers split The Grecian Center ballroom right down the middle, pitting the left side against the right side in roaring sing-along battles and playful call-and-response games.

Singing Loud, Raising Loud

What makes a Dueling Pianos International fundraiser so unique is how naturally the entertainment drives the fundraising goal. Throughout the night, guests placed tips alongside their song requests to bump their favorite tunes to the top of the pile. Witty banter and lighthearted “bidding wars” broke out over which classic songs would get played next, with 100% of those proceeds directly benefiting the Huron Music Boosters. Between the song requests, the ticket sales, and the generosity of the Downriver community, the event secured critical funding to support new instruments and equipment maintenance, travel costs for regional band and choir competitions, sheet music, and specialized instructional clinics for students.

Thank You, Downriver!

The March 13th event proved once again that music has the power to bring people together. The Huron Music Boosters extend a massive thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, sang at the top of their lungs, and donated so generously. Special thanks also goes out to The Grecian Center for their top-tier hospitality and to Dueling Pianos International for delivering a masterclass in musical fun.

Keys, Chaos, and Big Hearts: Recapping our Fundraiser at The Roxy!

We took over the gorgeous, high-energy stage at The Roxy in downtown Rochester, Michigan for an unforgettable charity event.  The mission? Raise money for a fantastic cause. The method? Absolute musical comedy driven by the audience. Here is how a night of flying fingers and philanthropy went down-

A Packed House for a Great Cause.

From the moment the doors opened, the energy inside The Roxy was completely electric. Guests filed in ready to support the community, but they left as the honorary backing choir for a couple of piano-playing magicians. Every single dollar raised through ticket sales, donations, and song requests went directly toward making a real-world impact.  Proof that doing good doesn’t have to be boring—sometimes it involves screaming the lyrics to “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the top of your lungs. For those who have never experienced a Dueling Pianos International show, there is no setlist. The crowd helps wield the power of the pianos. On March 13th, the request buckets were overflowing with everything from 90s hip-hop and classic rock anthems to country favorites. The pianists traded hilarious banter, fast-paced medleys, and virtuosic solos that kept the house packed all evening.

Let’s Do It Again! A massive thank you to the staff at The Roxy for being world-class hosts, and to every single person who bought a ticket, made a request, or sang along. You proved that music has the power to bring people together and change lives.
